As you turn to find a table, the morning sunlight streaming through the shop's window catches the clusters of obsidian-colored beading circling the band of your hat. Rubbing your eyes you recall how you didn't want to sleep off jet lag in your room and instead tossed on your favorite hat before skipping out to explore the city. You run your fingertips over the brim from back to front, tracing its crescendo as your excitement grows. It looks blustery outside, though this hat's hidden comb will keep it securely on your crown.
