I wore this today to go hear the Pittsburgh Symphony. I see there are some issues with attaching, My advice (as a milliner) is to work the comb before you wear it, pull it gently away from the base. It is hot glued on and held with two small stitches on either side, so don't be afraid to work it a bit. As for the bird cage veil, ladies, you can press this with a steam iron. I used a pressing ham underneath it to get the right shape, but most people don't have one of those (I am a seamstress), so I suggest getting a bath or hand towel and rolling/balling it up, then sticking the veil around it and steam/pressing it. I hope this is helpful to all!

this is a great fascinator, it has all my favorite elements: feathers, dotted veil and such a stylish black! My one complaint is that the shape of the headpiece makes the comb very difficult to attach to the hair - I find myself having to readjust it fairly often when i wear it - but I still adore it because it looks so great!

The veil is not as flexible as I thought it was going to be. It's very stiff. I don't want to mess around with it in case I never find a way it's flattering on me so then I can't return it. Suggestions?
