My stomach is super flat but I look like I have a belly in this dress. The pleats on this dress need to be sewn down, or the facbric should be changed so that the pleats lie flat. The dress is really pretty and looks nice from the front and from the side, but as you can see from the second photo, when viewed from certain angles, the pleats puff out and make me look like I have huge hips or a big belly. I would have kept the dress if it wasn't so pricey, but when I spend over $100, I expect a lot more and certainly no alterations. Note that the dress is more berry-colored than rich eggplant, which I was hoping for, and the gold button is very prominent and accessories will need to be chosen carefully. Also note the length - I'm 5'3" and it was perfect on me so may be too short for someone taller.

yeah, I was pretty on the fence about this one for a while & finally fell prey to the pressures of the little red "ONE LEFT!" notification. So, so glad I sprang for it. I'm trying to put together a respectable work wardrobe that's reasonably conservative without making me look like I'm just waiting for death, & this is exactly the ticket. It's a good length for a modest lady & a gorgeous color, & it's got the kind of fit that gave me a serious "ohh. oh wow." moment in the mirror when i got the zipper up. bombshell material that doesn't show off the goods. A+.

I saw that this dress was running large, so I bought a size smaller than what I usually wear. I eventually had to have it exchanged for a size 14. It is still pretty narrow in the hips, and large in the bust. I don't think that this can work without some good shapewear. I feel that this dress makes me look larger than I really am. However, the color is really pretty and the dress is of great quality. I have a feeling that this might work better for a girl who is less curvy than I am. This dress is not really for a Joan Holloway.
