Winter Belle Dress

I will never be a contestant in a beauty contest, nor is it likely that I be invited to a Hollywood premiere anytime soon. But when slipping into this midnight and silver dress, I can't help but feel like I'm bound for a red carpet, or headed to an event where wearing a crown wouldn't be out of the question. Everything about this frock from Max and Cleo exudes elegance, from the structured boning at the bust to its glimmering skirt rimmed with a light tulle lining. I love how the velvety waistband gives my waist dimension between the silkiness of the strapless top and the shimmer of the full skirt. Usually, I love dresses that have pockets, because they give me something to do with my hands when feeling awkward at cocktail parties. But I can't help but feel anything but confident when donning this dress, making the pockets an added benefit! I plan on wearing this frock this holiday season with sheer black tights, open-toe stilettos, and lots of sparkling accessories .
