When the Night Comes Dress

I couldn't stop drooling over this dress when I saw it was coming soon! I bought it the first day it became available and when I got it and felt the dress I was ecstatic! It has this very delicate yet sturdy feel to it, if that makes any sense! Delicate in the sense that I feel like the lace can snag easily at any point, so BE CAREFUL, but sturdy in the sense that it is very well put together and the fabric doesn't feel cheap. I have been searching for the perfect little black dress and this is it! It's girly yet flirty and spunky! I love how the ribbon sits on my natural waist and I love how it poofs just enough to give your body shape! I'm 5'3 and a half and I'm 145 lbs and it fits fabulous! My only problem with it was the zipper. It is so difficult to zip it up on account that the zipper is waaay to close to the lace and at any time I feel like it's going to grab my dress and tear it apart! Also, when it comes to zipping it past the ribbon portion it gets stuck, but if you jimmy it a bit it goes up the rest of the way just fine LOL! At first I thought it was me! I thought I bought it small, but my sister was like, "nope it's not you, it's the tricky zipper!" So the zipper sucks LOL! But other than that the dress fits like a dream and just looks amazing. I can't wait to wear this! It's definitely going to look fabulous for New Year's Eve!

This is such a beautiful and classic dress with a slight sexiness to it, which I love. The lace is so delicate looking and feels so soft but is also durable. The cut and fit is very nice, but I wouldn't recommend it if you have large hips as the waits cuts right above the hip area, but I found adding a belt helps. I wore it to a wedding with a with a thin cream belt and a pearl broach attached to it and red shoes. The picture you see was taken right before leaving for that wedding. I received a ton of compliments and plan on wearing it to my company's Christmas party with a different accessories.

This was my first purchase from ModCloth. I'm very pleased with the dress, I think it's gorgeous. The waist, however, is slightly large. It's really no big deal, though. The rest of the dress fits fine. I was a little worried about the length as I'm rather tall, but the length is great. It hits just a few inches above my knee. Overall, I'd say it is definitely worth the money. I love it.
