I expected it to be short... but WOW... it's short! My hip measurements are what they are because I have a LOT of junk in my trunk. That being said, my derriere makes the dress even shorter! As I walk, it rises, so, I will have to be mindful of it. Because it is so short, I won't be able to wear heels with it, without looking like a "lady of the night," of course.. and I don't own a single pair of flats! What's the point of shoes that have less than a 4-inch heel? This dress is WAY out of my comfort zone (I'm 35-yrs. old), but my boyfriend begged me not to return it!

This dress is a little shorter than what I normally wear, but I honestly expected that before I ordered it, so I'm not unhappy with it. What I didn't expect was how tiny my waist would look! I do have a larger chest, so I didn't have any problems with the fit like the previous reviewer. I am so excited to wear this for a night out!

*Sigh* I'm so bummed this didn't work out. I'm definitely a large measurement-wise, but this dress just isn't cut for a shorty like me. The neckline was extremely low-cut, and while this is a sexy, going-out style it was waaaay too scandalous on me. I also had a weird pooch at the armpit which would probably be solved by having wider shoulders. It was snug, as expected, so I don't think getting a medium wouldn't help. The knit is also VERY warm so it doesn't really work as a summer dress unless you encounter some cool nights. The colors are beautiful and it is good construction, so I would still recommend this to someone a bit taller.
