The upper half of this dress is fantastic. The lower half leaves much to be desired - like a couple of inches of fabric. It would be an adorable dress if it weren't for the slit in the back which makes an already short dress almost obscene. The dress doesn't functionally need the slit so I can only assume it is there for voyeuristic reasons. This dress would probably work if you are short but at 5'6" I had to return it.

Sexy yet casual. It is indeed short -- like many ModCloth dresses. I don't think the cleavage is that deep though (I guess it is if you're not used to showing it...) I would suggest ordering the large if you have curvy hips and thighs.
