Un-twill We Meet Again Dress in Grey

I am thoroughly in love with this dress! I was pretty scared the small wasn't going to fit me, as I am pretty petite, but the dress is quite flattering and fits pretty well. I will have to do some alterations, I'm going to hem the bottom of the dress so it is a little shorter, and I'll be taking it in the back a tad as well because the bust area is just a little bigger than I'd like, and also the shoulders are a bit high, so I'll be taking those in a little as well. Overal the dress is fantastic. I love the look, I feel gorgeous in it, and best of all it can be casual as well as professional/classy. Pairing it with my new ModCloth shoes and a blazer for work tomorrow. I am SO excited! Love it. =}

I bought the Un-Twill We Meet Again dress the first time it came to ModCloth, so I've owned it for about a year. Rarely have I ever been so satisfied with a garment. This dress is a total knockout. I'm a curvy girl (5'7", 142 lbs, size 8) and I was a little nervous about this dress because it's unlined and body-hugging. However, the seams are so flattering and the cut so fabulous that I don't even need shapewear. Busty girls will get a real treat because the neckline is seriously show-stopping without being too revealing. I wear it all the time, and I get a ton of compliments. I've dressed it up with pearls and closed-toed pumps for weddings, and I've dressed it down with my band-patched denim jacket and sweater tights for school, and I wear it to work about once a month. I've gotten so much use out of this dress and it has held up amazingly well. I've spilled red wine on it, and my fiance has tossed it in the dryer with his laundry many times, but it’s like teflon. Not that I recommend following my lead, but none of my shameful neglect has had the least effect on it's fabulous shape or color. If you are wide in the hip and between sizes, size up, since it runs a bit narrow, and I recommend snagging a bra with wide-sitting straps to keep them from showing.

I loved this dress. Decently made; timeless silhouette. Unfortunately, it was a bit big on my small frame - a little in the waist but mostly in the bust. An XS would have fit perfectly. Too bad S was the smallest side! Sadly, this dress was returned.
