Truly Yours Strawberry Dress

I was nervous to purchase this based on the reviews from other women, but It fit like a glove! It's gorgeous! I wore it to a very fancy wedding in Los Angeles and it was the most unique thing in the room and I got tons of compliments. People even thought it was original vintage (which of course I said "no, no, ModCloth!"). It's a perfect dress for feeling girly and elegant.

After looking everywhere for the perfect dress for a wedding, I found Truly Yours Strawberry Dress and was madly in love. Reading the reviews, I was afraid the dress wouldn't fit, but after consulting a lovely ModStylist (Taryn Kukucka, thank you very much!), I was confident to place my order. She was kind enough to actually measure the red ribbon on the dress' waist so I could compare with my waist's measurements. Needless to say, the dress fits perfectly around my waist, but I have a really small ribcage (25'' or 64cm) so girls, if you're unsure, talk to the ModStylists! The dress is super cute and the colours look just like pictured in the website (my own photo looks too yellow because of the light, but trust me!). I rated "too large" in Fit because it is large in the chest (about 3cm), but I'll have it altered, this dress is so worth keeping. This dress is also short, but it is part of it's charm: it's cute and playful and makes you feel like a cupcake fairy. The fabric feels very light but not see-through (another awesome thing!) I didn't have any problem with my zipper, but I was extra-careful when pulling it up and down. Shipping to Australia took only 8 days, and my dress arrived nicely packed in a cute box. I'm planing on buying a steamer to make the layers sit nice, and I'd recommend that to any girl that have this dress. Thank you ModCloth, this dress is the cutest thing ever!

I bought this for my brother's wedding next summer but I strongly suspect I'll wear it before then. It fits absolutely perfect and the colors are amazing and just like the photo.
