Toffee Talk Dress

I'm so glad I gave this dress a chance! It does run small--many of even the XS dresses are too large for me (5'2", 30-32B, small frame) but the Small in this dress is perfect. It was nice to have something fit "out of the box" for once--I often feel like I spend as much on alterations as I do on clothing! When I opened the box, I was afraid the thickness of the material would look strange/add bulk and that the color would look awful on me (full disclosure: auburn hair with highlights, pale skin, fairly heavily tattooed with birds/stars/flowers). I almost didn't even try it on, but decided I should try just in case. It fit perfectly, was the perfect "short but not trashy" length, and actually looked good with my skin and hair. The knit is heavy and stretchy, not flimsy--I can't see this one getting stretched out or losing shape. My one gripe is quality-related. The stripe that goes up the center looks just a bit "off" as if it weren't sewn exactly straight...however, when I put the dress on, the slight stretch of the bust makes it look okay. I'm too happy with the fit and overall look of this dress to send it back.

this dress was like a garter at the same time it perfected my figure aside from the compliments for the dress i was also complimented on the waist thank you all for creating this dress it did wonders for a girl like me

I sized up from my normal S to a an M for comfort and very glad I did! Great heavy fabric and popular with compliments when I wear it out. make sure to wash it and dry it by hand! It shrank a little in the drying machine when my boyfriend accidentally mixed it up with other laundry. Its shorter now but still cute.
