This is the New Sheer Dress

I ordered this in both a small (my usual size) and a medium since it said size up. the medium is too big in the waist on me and makes me look fat. the small would be perfect but the seam on the top, that goes under the armpit, is much too tight. I can zip it up fine, but it causes any excess skin/fat on my shoulderblades and armpits to stick out. also, the fabric inbetween my boobs is pulled extremely tight and I am by no means large breasted, being 32b/a. also, if I tried to tuck the fat into the bra area, it would cause me to have butt crack looking cleavage. the medium is about right if I wear a bra, but a bit loose if I don't. I don't get how someone with average sized to large booobs could possibly wear this. also the fabric is much shinier than I had wanted. it looks kind of like graduation gown fabric. in the picture, I'm wearing the small. I think it looks fine there, but that's only bc I have my arm up. If I put it down, I get side boobs near my armpits.

Yes, yes y'all! I love ModCloth for featuring dresses I would never encounter anywhere else. The design of the dress is rather demure, and then--hold up--wow, are those sheer panels on the side? Yeah! That nice girl could actually be a little bit bad! Now for the fit--they're absolutely right, size up. I normally opt for a small and the medium fits well. A little extra space around the upper tummy but congrats, now I can eat a bigger meal. Note the assymetrical hemline: it's made to almost look like a wrap dress, so be aware that on the left side of your body, there will seem to be excess fabric. In other words, maybe your left thigh is going to get more attention than you'd like. But the dress is flouncy, bold, and altogether a great buy.

After reading the reviews, I was a little nervous about the size of the dress. The previous reviewer is correct, this dress cannot be worn by anyone with boobs. I sized up to a Large which made everything bigger except the cup size. It was too big in the waist, too big around the top but my boobs spilled over the cups. I would not advise buying if you are a B/C or larger. I would guess the large would maybe fit a 38 A/B. It was well made and will be great for the right body type, mine is just not right.
