I was kind of cynical of this dress, but it's actually really cute on. I'll have to use some double sided tape as the strips in the back didn't quite line up with my bra so I'd have to stick them together to make sure my bra didn't show. I do think that it minimizes the figure though. I think if there were a stronger contrast between the colors (black to tan instead of grey to grey) it would help to look slimmer. However, I'm pretty curvy so it is fine because I still have definition, but if you're pretty slim without too many curves I would be concerned about it making you look flat down the sides. The material is great though, and it is very form fitting.

Very fun dress, but for those of you who still need to get into an abs routine, be wary - the silvery grey isn't the most forgiving shade for curvy stomachs! As someone said earlier it does minimize the bust a bit, which is not usually the area I want to minimize ; ) Other than that it is very flattering on the hips and arms and is made of surprisingly soft fabric!
