The Good Feelings Dress

My friends and I were escaping to Chincoteague Island one weekend when Nickelback unexpectedly invaded my car's speakers. "Um, can we change the channel?" my friend Tara asked from the backseat, "Nickelback gives me bad feelings." From that point on, "This gives me bad feelings," became a mantra among my group of friends - whether it be music, movies, or anything else. But there are also "good feelings," of course, which is exactly what I felt when I saw this delightfully sweet dress. With its flowing silk construction, unique interlocking spaghetti straps, and pleated sweetheart bust, this eucalyptus-hued frock instantly reminded me of Tara and her effervescent personality. Tara and I shared a lot of bad feelings while looking for jobs after grad school, but it was during one of our many application-filled afternoons that she forwarded me the listing for what would ultimately become my job at ModCloth. I know that when she dons this lovely dress (which I obviously owe her for the favor) with T-strap flats and her favorite pendant, she will share my good feelings! -Sarah, Fashion Writer
