What an adorable dress! I was hesitant at first because of the price, but I'm glad I bought it. I'm a size 12-14, and the XL is just right. A little snug in the waist, but nothing to be concerned about. The fabric is not what I expected. It has a real shimmer in person, and doesn't hang as stiff as the pictures suggest. But very heavy and well made dress. My only issue is that the XL is a little long. It looked shorter in the pictures. I'm only 5'3"...so that combined with the longer length in the larger sizes probably did it. Nothing a little hem won't fix.

Great dress! I really love the fit of it but I definitely prefer it styled with a belt like both of the stylings shown. It isn't quite as 'day wear' or casual as I was expecting. The sheen definitely takes it into the realm of dressy in my opinion. I was happy with the length but I AM a shorty, so I would recommend being careful if you're a taller girl. The buttons that do up on the side can be a little difficult to do on your own so if you have someone around when you're getting dressed I would recommend asking them for some help! I've had some doozy dresses from ModCloth recently but this one has almost made me a believer again.

This is a superb item! I wanted this dress the moment I saw it. The fabric is beautiful with a slight sheen to it. I ordered it bigger than normal (L) because I am very broad around my rib cage with a larger chest 36 B-C the dress was a perfect fit. I highly highly recommend any out there with a larger chest and rib cage SIZE UP because the stretch band in back isn't so stretchy. The length was perfect right above the knee and looks amazing with knee highs and oxford shoes! You will not regret this purchase at all. I have worn mine 4 or 5 times already.
