Teal It to My Heart Dress

I voted for the dress in the Be the Buyer program, so I received the alert email saying it was in stock, and when I saw it again I fell in love with it--the color especially. I ordered a medium sine I generally fall between that and a large. When it arrived I was immediately smitten by the color, which was exactly the same as it had been online. A lot of other reviewers complained a lot about the quality, and while yeah it's not anything to write home about, it's not exactly a dealbreaker considering this is one of Modcloth's cheaper offerings. My main issue with it is the fitting of the top. The straps were a little shorter than I would have hoped so the nexk is just a smidgen awkwardly high, and the arms could actually be a bit tighter so they don't kind of gape the way they do. The waist also hits slightly ABOVE my natural waist, which looks a bit awkward. However, I am writing it off just because I'm kind of tall, so things often have a way of being a tiny bit off. On the flip side, though, the length is perfect! I've bought one Modcloth item before and had to send it back because it was too short (it's really difficult to find the right length when I purchase things online) but this was a great summer length. The open back is sweet, though good luck in finding a bra that will work with it.

I'm heartbroken that I have to send this dress back. I ordered it to wear as a bridesmaid in a casual outdoor wedding, but it turns out that it's not the color the bride wants. The dress is just adorable and incredibly comfortable. Some reviewers complained about the quality of the fabric, but I thought it was quite nice and soft (although it does wrinkle easily). The length is fantastic-it hits about three inches above the knee on me. The sweetheart neckline is really flattering and attractive, although the bust does fit a bit snug (but I'm fairly busty, so I'm used to it.) I would love so much to keep this dress just to have, but my broke college student budget requires that I return it in order to buy a different dress :(

I love this dress. I bought it for my trip to Miami a few weeks ago and I am so glad I did. I wear it without a bra which is easy because the back ties and helps keep the girls in the right spot! I am a 38C. It does run large so beware of that! I am so satisfied with this dress and would recommend it for all women! The dress does wrinkle so something to be ware of!
