  • Shell does not provide stretch. Lining provides stretch. Removable belt is adjustable and ranges from 25 to 29.5 inches in length for size 0; 26 to 29.5 inches for size 2; 27.25 to 32 inches for size 4; 28 to 32.5 inches for size 6; 29 to 33.5 inches for size 8; 30.5 to 35 inches for size 10; 32.75 to 36.25 inches for size 12; 33 to 37.5 for size 14.

This was just unfortunate. I'll give you the good and then the bad. The good: the print IS fabulous, which is the main reason I bought the dress and the length was perfect. The bad? Everything else. The dress was a true size 0, but it just fits weirdly around the bust and under the arms. The fabric was insanely cheap polyester, and I mean really cheap. I've seen better quality poly elsewhere, which is something I never thought I'd say. Besides feeling cheap and satin-y, the fabric clings like you wouldn't believe, SO staticky. You HAVE to spray it with anti-static spray just to make it wearable. It is absolutely NOT worth the price. Yes, I knew it was polyester when I ordered and yes, I was willing to pay the price knowing that, but there is a difference between good polyester and bad polyester. I was going to return this but my boyfriend liked it so much, he insisted I keep it. If not for him, I definitely would've sent it back. Not the quality I'm used to getting when I order from Modcloth.

I live in the tropics, and normally steer clear of polyester, but I am addicted to photo prints and this dress was to spectacular to resist. The dress has arrived and I am very happy. The skirt is longer on me than Beautiful Mess, which I am grateful for, as I don't have the legs for shorter dresses anymore. It hits me just at the base of the knee. Because of the heat I'll be removing the lining and replacing it with a cotton lining, and I'm happy that the lining of the dress is added after the dress was constructed, so this will be an easy alteration. The lining is also a little snug on my big hips, but the waist and bodice fit well on my comparatively narrow top. The fit and look of the dress are just lovely, and the outer layer of polyester has a sheer, crepe quality that should work in my climate with a new lining. I bought a size 6, and am 36"/27"/40".

This dress is really pretty in person, but it ended up being a return for me. The problems: 1) The material was crazy staticy 2) while I already knew the dress was polyester and was okay with it, the polyester was really thin 3) the belt was a bit flimsy considering the price. The good: 1) the fit was spot on and 2) the print was beautiful. I am sad to return this dress, but I just don't feel it is worth the price.
