Sugar Cookie Platter

I ordered this dress to wear in one of my best friends' weddings in June. I thought that it looked perfect - feminine, soft, intricate, etc, so I was really excited to get it. I received it today however, and was really let down. It was totally awkward and ill-fitting, especially in the top half of the dress. The fabric around my ribs was really loose and baggy (not fitted as shown), so it looked like I didn't have a bust at all. Also, the white band around my waist wasn't straight and was pulled up on the side where the shoulder strap is. It was totally awkward. I have never had a problem with a dress like this before, so I think that it is just made funny. I was honestly embarrassed to post a picture of how weird I looked in the dress, but I wanted to show everyone how bad it is! Aside from the fit, the boning in the top of the dress was also sticking out by my armpit and stabbing me. I did, however, really like the fabric. I thought about keeping it and trying to alter it somehow, but it just wasn't worth the hassle..it would be too complicated, if possible at all. Needless to say, I'm returning this dress tomorrow!

I bout this dress for a Christmas party, because I'm not one to have "bright" dresses. I thought this was settle yet elegant. I got it in the mail and it fit me great! I'm 5'2" and 125lbs with a 34B bra size, and ordered a small. One thing that happened though was that the zipper on the side broke because when zipping it up past the band in the middle it gets stuck a little and my friend pulled a little to hard and it broke. No worries though we just slipped a bobby pin into the loop and worked great! I couldn't find a picture with the whole length of the dress showing but at least you can see the top! :) I absolutely love the dress!

Unfortunately I had the same experience as Bethany with this dress. It was definitely ill-fitting and the boning was uncomfortable. There was just no way to position the strap to make it look as nice as it does on the mannequin.
