This dress is real cute, however, it runs really large. I'll have to have it taken in at the waist and shortened. I'm 5'3 and it's too long, although might be ok for some, us short girls need to make our legs a little longer!

This was part of my first ModCloth purchase and I snatched up this dress the first day it was available. I was super pumped when the box arrived, but sadly the dress didn't fit. I have pretty big girls up there ( I'm a new mom so they are slightly inflated at the moment) but the whole top just made me look even more busty than normal ( not the look I am going for right now). I have bony shoulders and the straps/ sleeves just fall right off to give me the "I'm going to a renaissance fair" look. Not a deal breaker as it could be hemmed but I'm kind of lacking in time right now ( see new mom comment above). Additionally the dress was about an inch or two too big in the waist for me. The length, however, was perfect. I disagree with the previous commenter who said the dress was not bright and cherry- it's quite lovely and would be great in the summer. I'm so sad to return it as my husband thought it was lovely. However, if it becomes available in smaller sizes, I would definitely order again!

It is true that this dress runs large. For me, it's a little large around the waist. However, I wouldn't want to size down as I would be afraid it would then be too small in the bust. I will probably end up just taking it to a tailor or taking it in a bit myself. I may also end up hemming it, just a little bit. Otherwise, this dress is adorable! I love the sleeves, and the red with the light blue is different, but the colors look great together!
