Storm in the Air Dress

I bought this to wear to my husband's marine ball, which was being held in Vegas. I didn't expect to catch any compliments with Jim by my side all decked out in his military finest, shiny metals, and getting hollers, handshakes and "thank you for your service" every three steps, but I nabbed just as many comments as him as we were walking to the ball! My favorite was as group as young women passed they stopped just behind us and shouted "You look amazing! You're gorgeous! Smokin' hot!", so Jim turned and thanked them assuming they were talking about him in his uniform (and i was just about to start gritting my teeth and glaring) they said "NO, not you-- her!". Glorious victory and I have this dress to thank!!! It arrived pretty quickly and in good condition. It fit alright, but there was a lot of room between the bodice of the dress and me. It was just unflattering, but it was a real simple fix. I just went to a tailor and he took it in about an inch and it looked AMAZING. The length was perfect with my 5 inch heels-- it just nearly grazed the floor. I paired the dress with Betsy Johnson's London Lights bootie (lights off, of course), my white gold diamond wedding band set, and a chunky silver woven cuff bracelet. Kept it kind of simple and I think it went well. I was worried that the dress might make me look less chesty and more chunky, but after I had the dress taken in I had just the right amount of curve showing.

I'm 5'9''. I'm an A cup. The length was perfect when I wore my heels. But i'm going to have to get it fitted because the top is way too big. It seems like the top should be for a C cup. I had to pin the dress to my strapless dress for it to stay on.

I bought this dress for my 30th birthday party. I am 5'10". 34B. It fit perfectly with a bit of help from a strapless bra. The dress was everything I could have asked for and more. I looked absolutely fabulous. the perfect mix of sexy, yet classy. Loved it!!
