Steal the Game Show Dress

This dress is every bit as playful and cute in person as the pictures depict. I am teetering between 4'11" and 5'0", and this dress hits me just above my knees (however, I am all legs with a short torso.) So taller lasses, take note! The waist does run a bit small, hence why I sent for a medium. My waist is 29" and I would say the dress sits perfectly there as is; I would not recommend anyone over 30" waist for the medium. The sash tie would provide a little leeway for tinier waists. Awesome, right?! HOWEVER... There is a catch. The V neck dips low. Very low. It could be because I have a short torso; it could be that a medium is far too loose for my boobular area. In addition to those factors, mediums aren't forgiving of my narrower shoulders, so the sleeves fall off. I totally don't blame Modcloth for these issues, as I had to order a size larger than usual to compensate for my waist size. Everything below the waist is flowing and nonrestrictive, so if you are bootylicious like me, then have no fear! I will whisk this away to the tailor and upload a picture after it's rehabilitation. The lining is soft and silky, and provides great coverage. The outer material is also soft yet sturdy. One last thing, and my only real complaint. The blue on the dress looks greener in person. Just a tad bit disappointing, but I need this dress in my life... so we'll work things out. <3

First and foremost, this dress is ADORABLE. The fit of the dress is really pretty, especially the skirt. The lining underneath gives it a lovely extra bounce to the dress when you walk. Also the dress is much thicker than I expected. the material in the picture looks very light, but in reality the dress is very heavy. That' not a bad thing though, it actually makes the dress much nicer.Some things to note about this dress however are: 1. The colors are not as pictured, in the image one of the lines look like blue thread. The thread is actually green. 2. The chest area is not for those with a smaller cup size. It is a very deep cut. I had to stitch the front closed to ensure that I don't flash everyone as I walk. 3. The thread comes loose very easily. Already I see a lot of loose stitches. The thread seems to get caught very easily in the zipper which is frustrating. I'm 5'0 and 125 lbs., the small fit me nicely and the dress hits about an inch and a half above the knee. This dress is really cute and very unique looking. I definitely recommend it.

This dress is so adorable! The quality of the material is good and the lining is very great. It's a little on the short side (although I'm 5'10''), but once I paired it with some black tights it was great.
