Love this dress! I was looking around for the perfect dress for my school's Homecoming dance; I wanted one that was a little retro-inspired and able to be worn to other occasions without it looking too "school dance". I immediately thought, "ModCloth!" and found this to be my definite fave. However, it was only available in a Large, and I needed a Small, so I looked at other dresses but kept coming back to this one. My mom told me to go ahead and order it, so I did, and got it altered so now it's perfect. It hits an inch or two above my knee, but I have a short torso and long legs, so it may hit a little higher on those with nice long torsos. It has elastic in the top of the back, which is quite nice, and the spots are velvety which gives them an extra rich look. Don't go by my review for fitting, since mine was altered and I can't say what the Small would really fit like, but it's definitely a great quality dress and I love it! Looks great with black tights and nude suede heels.

I adore this dress, it is super cute. I ordered this dress in a medium based on the dimensions given. When I tried it on, it was too big both in the bust and the waist. I called and did a quick exchange, and switched for a small. I just got the small today and the fit is great. The bust does have elastic around the top but the waist has no stretch to it. For reference, I am 5'3" about 112ish pounds, athletic build, 32C, 28, 36. I plan on wearing this to a Cali wedding in November with a cute sweater and maybe tights.

Love this dress. I'm about 5'4", 120 lbs and the small fit me perfectly. Wore this to a wedding last weekend and got many compliments on it. Looks great with black tights or without.
