There is a kind of bra that would work with this dress; it fastens around the waist and then has the straps going up the wide-apart shoulder area. I believe the dress would look much better if the bodice back had the same rose-colored underlying fabric. The white lace is beautiful, and I believe this design deserves a second chance, perhaps in a choice of longer lengths such as ballerina or mid-calf length.
Cute design, the straps look a little awkward though, like you would need the right fit of bra so that the bra straps would lie under the dress straps..does that make sense?
I like this dress, but the arm holes give a really strange silhouette to the front. They need to be straighter or something. Also, elastic waists should never be on dresses that aren't beach cover-ups.
