I love the little bone print but I would like a cinched waist with maybe a belt or a band of some kind.

Might be cute with a thin black belt or a black ribbon around the waist to tie in the back. I think the zipper should be hidden.

I really like the neckline, but I'm not a big fan of the color, or pattern, or material. I picked it, though, because I'm sure other people will like this dress.
