While the shape is simple, the lace detail keeps it from being simplistic. I think it would be best to add color to a dress like this with a belt, necklace, or shoes, rather than over embellishing the dress itself.

it's okay, but I'd either like to see it in a color we don't see all the time, or else something about the detail or styling to make it stand out more as being special and unique.
