I bought a dress somewhat similar in pattern and cut on Modcloth about a year ago and loved it. Yes, I needed to bring up the hemline to accommodate my petite frame. Yes, I need to belt the dress to compliment my curves. That being said, this dress has a lot of potential for creative accessorizing. I can see myself being comfortable and cute in this dress at a summer soiree on the beach or even under a cardigan when school starts in the fall. I am sorry that I was not able for this garment. I hope enough Modshoppers saw the potential in this dress so that one day it may end up in my wardrobe.

I like the stripe pattern, but everything else about this dress makes it look like a potato sack.

hmmm. It reminds me of an old school train conductor's hat and I'm not sure how I feel about that.
