This dress is even more beautiful in person. I really like how the gold looks with the cuffs and collar. This dress has an almost sweater dress type of texture and really hugs the body. That kind of fit normally makes me pretty uncomfortable, but I think the stripes help create the illusion of a smaller stomach. The dress is quite short. It hits about mid-thigh on me, and I am pretty short! I am not a huge fan of how the short the dress is, but I tried it on with black tights and then again with black leggings, and I think I can make this work. The only reason why I knocked off a star is the gold "belt" is very sensitive. I had to fiddle with it a bit before I could get it to sit flat. Overall, that probably won't be an issue for me because I am probably going to wear this dress with a black belt. Because of its length, I am not sure if this dress is for everyone, but it is pretty darn cute!

I had to size up out of limited availability of this popular dress. I expected it buying it to be a try-on experiment, but even though it's a bit loose, this dress has an architecture that works with some flexibility to size. I got a ton of compliments wearing it with white boots. The material is of high quality, very comfy and soft and stretchy. If you find this and it's above your size, it may not be a deal killer. I absolutely love it! Dainty June wins again!

This dress is adorable!Fitted and it gives stretch:)I love the lace and gold details.Only reason I took out 1 star is that the material is thin and if you wear a colored bra,it will slightly see through.I had red bra and it shows a little bit..but I dont care!I love this dress so much!Its on shorter side,I can wear it as a tunic with a pair of skinny jeans as well.
