Professional Makeup Artist Dress

Man oh man this is a pretty dress in real life. It is very soft and uniquely modest. My boyfriend stated it's not flattering, but if you put a small belt on it, it's very chic and clean. I ordered the S and it's too big on me, but I wish it had fit. Highly recommended.

I loved this dress since I saw it, but I was so worried about the quality and the fit. I shouldn't have worried so much. The quality is ridiculously good and it fit me quite well (slightly tight at my bust, but it doesn't show and it only happens on my "fat days"). I added a braided belt, stockings, and boots, and it becomes the perfect outfit. I'm planning on debuting it on my birthday. The uneven parts of the dress is a little odd, but only because I don't usually asymmetrical things. Overall, it's pricey (for a bargain shopper, like me), but worth the splurge since it is for my birthday.

I love so many things about this dress, but it didn't end up working for me. I'm a TTS 8 and the fit was as I expected. It's made of incredibly soft, thin fabric - it was so tiny coming out of the package I thought I'd mistakenly been sent a blouse. There were a bunch of loose threads around the buttons, but nothing some scissors couldn't fix. From the front, it's fantastic - it's very modest and covered-up, which I love, but the sheer parts keep it from looking like you're headed to a funeral. I have a sway back. I've never noticed it affecting the way my clothes fit before, but I don't usually buy dresses that are this straight up and down. Anyway, there's a really unattractive puckering effect at the back of the waist for me, and I don't know if it's due to my spinal woes or just my general hourglassiness. I tried on different belts but nothing seemed to help. If I were buying a lot of clothes, I'd probably have kept it as a layering piece, but my current budget doesn't allow me to buy anything that's not knock-it-out-of-the-park fantastic on me, so it's going back. Really bummed about it though - so close to perfect!
