As a wee lass, I fervently looked forward to school picture days. As a wee lass, I fervently looked forward to school picture days. There were so many things to love - the faux-laser backdrops, the tradeable stickers to come, and of course, the special occasion of being able to dress up in my finest frocks. This sweet dress from British designer Miss Patina conjures up memories of those garments past, due to its grown-up version of darling details such as a rich brown Peter Pan collar and cuffs, placket with functional golden round buttons, and an allover polka dot pattern. I envision myself wearing this frock with yellow patent pumps, textured stockings, and a nubby cardi, with a vintage hairclip at my temple for extra sass.
