I really wanted this dress to work and judging by the measurements I thought I would have a go at it. Outside of the hem length everything else fit great but if any of you ladies are 5'11'' and above...I really mean this now, not when you're wearing your 6 inch platforms- I would pass on this dress. Thought I could pin the slit in the bottom together and maybe get away with it but no such luck. Back it goes!

Loved the color. However, I really wish Modcloth would start including designer information for ALL dresses...dresses by this designer (Tropical Dreams) almost always fit me much too snugly around the bust, and this one was no exception. Back it went.

I love this dress! It gives me a nice hourglass figure and hits just above my knee, which is perfect since I'm on the conservative side of dressing. The top is bigger than the bottom, but I'm going to have it taken in on the top of the shoulders so it will sit right. Best part, my husband said it made me look like I had stepped off the set of Mad Men. I can dream I'm as cute as Joan right?
