Plenty by Tracy Reese Phoenix Sunrises Dress

The dress arrived perfectly packed and pressed. It is gorgeous and looks exactly as pictured. The colors are spot-on accurate. I was impressed with how beautifully the garment is tailored. The top is a bustier with bones and non-skid tape. I love the fact that the thin black straps can be worn or unhooked from front and back. The back zips up (exc quality zipper). The self-belt even has two small snaps to keep the tail in place. The size is accurate. My only problem is I need to loose a little weight to get zipped past my waist. I am dieting and plan to keep the dress. I love it, it is so different, so striking, and so beautifully made. If I don't loose weight, I'll have to return it and that would be too sad to consider. Last comment, about the length, because I am short I might shorten it but am undecided. We'll see how it looks when I can get it zipped. Plan to wear it with sparkly TOM's black wedges recently bought. And a cropped black sweater or wrap for evenings. This is a drop-dead, one-of-a-kind dress. Enough said!

I have gotten a ton of compliments on this dress! The only thing to be aware of is that the top is very large, while the waist is tiny. I got a size 4, and had to wear a crazy padded strapless bra to keep it from falling down (I'm a B cup naturally). Get some double-stick, and be ready for random women to gush about how cute your outfit is.

I went back and forth about buying this dress for months because it is so expensive - it went in and out of stock 3 times before I finally gave in. This dress is practically perfect. The silk is soft and flows nicely, the belt is beautiful, and I love that I can wear it with/without straps and with/without belt - makes it very versatile. It fits almost perfectly; it's a little big up top, but not enough for anyone to notice except me. I'm so excited to wear this to my upcoming wedding rehearsal & luncheon!
