I adore this dress. First off, it's more emerald and less sage than it appears online. For me, this is only good news. I was nervous about the asymmetry of the dress (it had the potential to add unwanted attention to my hips), but it wears beautifully! I am so so so excited to wear this dress. My one complaint is the zipper. It's a fairly heavy-duty zipper, and it's rather difficult to use. Whenever I zip up, I'm always nervous that I'll catch fabric or myself in the zipper. It would be a disaster...

I wanted to love this dress but the fit is really weird. It was too big in the bust and tight around the hips and butt. It's a shame I love the color and style just doesn't fit at all.

So, this dress is short. It is short enough that if I'm wearing spanx, they extend past the bottom of the dress. Thus, tights are a must! Still, I wore this dress to a Christmas dinner with a black blazer and got a lot of compliments! The color is really pretty, but it is a bit greener than it shows in the modcloth photo (and less grey). The lighting wasn't great for the picture I attached so it comes out as black. I promise, it isn't that dark! The top is pretty good for those of us with a larger bust, but I found that I was a little self-conscious throughout the night as things shifted so I might either sew a few stitches up top or wear a black tank top underneath. Either way, I'm still happy. I will say that I got this dress significantly on sale. I'm not sure if it is worth $90. $50, sure, but $90? Maybe ...
