During the year I spent studying abroad, I was constantly mesmerized by the effortless chic of Parisian women. During the year I spent studying abroad, I was constantly mesmerized by the effortless chic of Parisian women. The minute I saw this dress, with its languid folds, interesting cut, and dark colors, I was transported back to one of my favorite evening hangouts, Merle Moquer. It must have been there that I saw a striking girl wearing a dress like this, an item full of fluidity and grace. It's a picture so clear I can almost grasp it out of thin air. This unique dress might have been the very one she wore; or, at very least, it would have fit right in with the scene. It's heather grey racerback tank bodice and black mock jumper overlay would have looked great dappled in the colorful lights of the small, dark bar, and the drape of the triangularly cut sides would have swayed sexily in time with the music. I think the mysterious girl wore her dress with casual flats and a draped gold necklace, but I plan on cinching mine at the waist with a colorful belt and pairing it with sleek kitten heels and big rosebud studs. Paris may be too far away to visit everyday, but I know this dress will serve as the perfect way to vicariously visit that unforgettable place. - Hannah, Fashion Writer
