Let's Make a Daffo-deal Dress

I ordered this dress to wear to an academic convention at my school where I would be presenting in front of a large group of people. I got a ton of compliments, but I had to make some styling adjustments to prevent my boobs from falling out. This dress will be tight on you if you have large (or athletic) shoulders or a big ribcage. I actually called Modcloth and got a very friendly lady who told me there was no XL for this dress, because it was seriously cramping my bust. If you have a bust, it might smush your boobs and make them look funny. Also, you will end up showing a TON of cleavage. The rest of the dress is simply gorgeous, so I solved the dilemma by wearing a tank top underneath it (covered my tattoo as well) and a cardigan on top. Modesty and vintage style, all in one! I usually wear an 8/10 in jeans, but in tops I've always had to get a L because of bust/shoulder issues. I would totally recommend this dress, but with caveats: be prepared to wear something over or under it if you are going to be at a formal setting.

*Amazing* dress - perfectly form fitting and excellent length. The quality is stunning with beautiful stitching and lace. Zipper is a bit tricky but tips mentioned in other posts help. I also love the extra fabric which gives volume to the bottom of the dress

Like the other reviews say I did have trouble with the zipper. In fact it actually broke right about at the bust line. It just would NOT go any further. I'm pretty small all around (34B 5"4 100lbs) and the Small fit perfectly! I will say that it has more of a green tint in person than it does in the picture. I was also on the fence about returning it due to the whole zipper deal but my boyfriend loves it so much he's going to take it to get fixed :) He says its one of his favorite dresses on me! If you have a small frame like I do this dress is very flattering!
