I was young. Yep, that's all I remember, but that doesn't mean it didn't affect me. No, laser light shows immediately infiltrated the top ranks of my little kid chart of neato. Wowee, were they the coolest thing ever! I remember being enthralled by them the following year, always anxious to see laser light shows at any science museum or amusement park that crossed my path. Today, laser light shows may have fallen from favor, but this strapless dress is here to evoke their turn-of-the-80's hay day in all its glory. You can almost hear the driving chords of pop rock as they conduct this dress' chalky, cyan, chartreuse, and deep periwinkle fragments across the fabric's night sky background. Bursting through this visual cornucopia, three asymmetrical, arrow-shaped lines of zipper teeth fan across the front, sweeping into a slightly tulip-cut hem. Though laser light shows have fallen off my radar, I'll still find a million places to wear this rad dress. I'll zip its prominent, silver closure up my back and pair it to netted tights and wild jewelry for Pittsburgh's infamous Down and Derby. Or, I'll slap it on with contrasting red booties and a fitted cardigan for a day of thrifting.
