Lady Love Song Dress

This dress is sexy and fun. It has some structure to it, which is nice and it really hugs your curves very well. It comes just below the knee on me, which I like, since it it's a nod to this fall's mid-calf length hem lines without being so long as to make me look stumpy. There was a little bit of wonkiness about the fabric around the bust, but I think that will be fixed with an ironing. It runs true to size and is form-fitting without being so tight as to make it difficult to breathe or walk. My only quibbles with it are that I couldn't zip it up on my own (even tho it fit fine when I finally did get it on all the way) and that I had to spend a lot of time pulling it down as it bunches up a lot when walking. I know this is to be expected with dresses that are this tight and cut, but it is a pain--if you want it to lay as smoothly as it does on the dummy you'll probably be doing a fair bit of tugging on it. That said, it's still very flattering and I am happy with my purchase. (Also, Modcloth, could you maybe consider labeling the dresses you get from Rock Steady and allowing to search clothes by this brand? I find myself liking a lot of their styles, but only finding out after the fact, and I'd like to see what else you h ave from them. Thanks!)

this is my first purchase from Modcloth and i was a bit wary as i am an international customer and didn't realise that it couldn't be exchanged. but it was AMAZING!! being an Australian size 8-10 on top and a 10-12 on the bottom, i didn't know whether to get a small or medium, but i got a medium and it fit perfectly! If in doubt i think go up! As the person above mentioned, it doesn't lie flat, it tends to have little folds, but i think these actually look great! you can of course pull the dress down to smooth it out but i can't complain at all! i have a small bust and it looked good, though there's definitely room for the bigger bust. it hugged the curves but in a really flattering way and the colour is vibrant and beautiful. the fabric is nice too. Really happy with the purchace!

This is one of my most favorite purchases of all times. It's perfectly cut. Perfectly clingy. Perfectly flattering. I have received so many compliments in this dress. I kind of wish I could wear it every day!
