Home for the Holidays Dress

This is the first winter I'll have spent apart from my family. Working in a different city from my mom, dad, and three younger brothers is awesome in a lot of ways. I'm exploring a new place, meeting incredible people, and working at a  wonderful job. I've definitely gained a greater sense of independence. As the holiday season approaches however, I am getting more and more antsy. I cannot wait to be home for Christmas! My brothers (aged 20, 17, and 14) and I still leave milk and cookies for Santa and a carrot for Rudolph on the kitchen table on Christmas Eve. In the morning, my dad makes us line up at the top of the stairs, youngest to oldest, and insists on filming us coming down the stairs. Later our friends and loved ones arrive, their cheeks rosy and noses red with cold, and everyone hugs and sips on my mom's amazing warm cider by the fire. This year, I cannot wait to wear this poinsettia-colored wrap dress by Sugarhill Boutique while I celebrate the season with my family! I'm going to have to be quick to order, though - this item was purchased at the "Bread and Butter" tradeshow in Berlin, and is available only in very limited quantities. Its rarity isn't the only thing that makes this dress gorgeous. The flowy flutter sleeves, flattering, button waist, and floral obsidian sequined and beaded applique at the hem all work to make this dress extraordinary. I plan on pairing it with sheer black tights, patent Mary Janes, and a sparkly necklace. This Christmas, I couldn't ask for a better dress to wear, or a better place to wear it than home.
