Holiday in Paradise Dress

I got the medium and the large...the medium fit perfectly in the chest and everywhere else...but it was definitely too short. It hit above my ankle. The large was longer, but the top was then much too loose. I was so sad to return both--hopefully Modcloth will begin stocking maxi dresses that fit us tall girls too!

I am in love with this dress! I wore it to my friend's debutante ball, and I was initially in love with the price, but once I got it I loved everything about it! I was afraid it would be too casual, but it's incredibly versatile and classy. I felt so fancy! The material is so soft and comfortable. I think it would be flattering on just about anyone, and the stretch in the material is very forgiving :) I'm very flat (34A) and it was a tiny bit loose in the top, so I added a strapless bra but I think just anyone would be fine without one as there is padding. I will say that it is short, as I'm 5'2" and it was just the right length for heels. It would be perfect for any formal occasion, it was amazing for the price, and it was so fun to accessorize! Another win from ModCloth :) OH! And, I bought two dresses to try (Evergreen and Gorgeous dress was the other I bought) and there was no shipping charge to send the one I didn't want back! Another example of excellent customer service at ModCloth! Thanks a ton!

This dress is GORGEOUS. It hangs beautifully, and fits me perfectly. I am so happy with it. No bra necessary, which is highly unusual for me (38 DD) so I can't wait to wear it out! My husband says he'd have paid ten times the price it looked so good on me. This is the perfect dress for those of us blessed with curves! Usually it is hard to walk the fine line between plus sizes and XL of regular sizes. Very often the pluses are too big and aren't cut well for those of us who aren't fat, just curvy, and the regulars are too tight in the bust and hips. This dress looks like it was tailored for me. Kudos!!!
