Guest Poetry Lecture Dress

My boyfriend bought me this for Christmas because he thought it was different from anything else I had in my wardrobe. I am so happy to add this to my collection. The fabric is so soft you feel like you're wearing classy PJ's. It also has this interesting texture to it. The stripes are raised (if that makes sense), so you can feel the lines in the fabric...when you buy it you'll understand my nonsense. I am usually not a scoop neck fan, but this one sits perfectly. Doesn't rise or fall. I, like most women, am cautious when wearing something that hugs my midrift, but no fear here! It gathers in just the right places (aka love handles and lower tummy) so the parts of you that you may not always want to show off are neatly hidden. It's such a cleverly designed dress! Because it is formfitting though, I would suggest trying the larger size first. I have found that I seem to be a medium on this site, but the large in this fits perfectly.The slit up the side is appropriate, not too showy. The only complaint I have is that it's sort for me. I like dresses that touch the floor and this one sits at my ankles. I don't think I could wear heals with it.

I usually order dresses in a small from here, but I wanted to make sure that it wasn't too tight around my hips, and I'm SO glad I got the medium. It fits perfectly, but I marked it a little on the long side because the bottom of the dress just brushes the floor, but I like how long it is. It's a great comfortable dress that's very versatile and I would absolutlely recommend buying it.

This was beautiful and fit my body very nicely. It highly accentuated my belly though and I've got a fairly good mid section. So... I sent it back. If you buy this dress, you'll probably love it.
