this is my second 'glamour power' dress and i think it is really interesting! the print is a little odd, but it works somehow (even though it makes me think of sephora and see's candies at the same time). i typically order a large in modcloth dresses, as i like any extra length (and they allow for tailoring to be done easier), however this large felt a bit snug in the waist. the v-neck is modest enough to not need a camisole underneath, however it would still look fetching if one was worn. the length is WONDERFUL. i am 5'6" and this came to my knees (just where i like it!). there are only three 'issues' i have with this dress: one is that i have no idea what kind of bra to wear that won't show in the back. two: the dress is a wee bit poofy and can be difficult to calm down, so be warned (i like that look, but i could see some folks not being so fond of it). three: the zipper on this one was stiff. it didn't seem to want to zip up for a while, then i managed to get it going. i was afraid i was going to break it...or snag the dress. despite these little inconveniences, i am weirdly enamored with this piece. i'm thinking of wearing a neon belt with it and shoes to match. no matter how it's worn, i am glad it will be living in my closet!

Aww, I wanted to love my dress like everyone else did but after two tries it hasn't worked out. I tried a S first, which is what works for me in most Modcloth dresses, but the waist sat up on my ribs and was too small around. I swapped it out for a M and the sizing was perfect. However, while the overall graphic look of the dress was very striking, the stripes along the waistband are on a slant rather than straight like the dress pictured. It really detracts from the look of the dress and I'd feel like I couldn't wear it without a belt - which is silly for an $80 dress. Sadly, returning it.

This dress is the best purchase I have made in a long time! It looks absolutly beautiful! I bought this dress for my rehearsal dinner and cannot wait to wear it!
