This is just beautiful! I was sad that I had missed the "blossoms" version of this, but this totally makes up for it! The pattern is so fun but demure at the same time. The material is light but good quality. The skirt does puff out quite a bit on account of the the fact that the bottom half of the skirt lining is finished sort of like a petticoat, but I think that is part of the charm. If you did want to make it less A line though you could just change the bottom of the lining to a straight cut slip. I do find this a tad bit snug around the bottom of my ribcage (and I don't have a large ribcage). I usually wear a small at MC but when there is no stretch I will go for a Med. Extra happy I did in this case. Although I have been wrong on a few occasions. I am a small in the Too Much Fun dresses and those don't have any stretch. In this case though it was definitely the right decision. I did find the zipper a little difficult to get up. It keep getting stuck in the material. So now I put the dress on by zipping it up in front me and then just shimmying it over to my left side and putting my arms through the armholes. WAY easier that way. I wish all side zip dresses could be put on that easily!

I loved this dress but was disappointed when I ordered a size up but had problems with the zipper getting stuck abround the rib cage. I even took it to a tailor and was willing to pay for a different zipper. Alas, I was told due the type of hidden zipper, material (no give) and extra material on the waist band, I would have the same problem. I was heartbroken and about to return it when I reread the reviews and came across the tip for zipping it in front of you and then shimmying your shoulders into it. Thank you! The fit is snug around the ribcage but not too much. It flatters my waist, which is not small, and is my new favorite even with the struggle to put it on. I can't wait to order another dress from MC!

It was love at first sight. I had to have this dress. To my absolute delight it fits like a glove and is even more beautiful in real life. The print is magnificent. The cut, sublime. It is extremely snug around the waist which is the thing I'd flag to others. The zip also worries me. The quality of is not that good and it gets stuck extremely easily. However, the dress is so beautiful I had to rate it 5 stars. Best dress ever!
