Do You See What I Sepia? Dress

Very pretty rusty colour. The lace is fine, yet sturdy. I doesn't look like it will snag too easily. There is absolutely NO forgiveness in the waistline. I had originally ordered a small (I am often between a small and a med) and the bodice and the bottom of the outer layer fit very good, but it was way too tight in the waist line and caused the bottom part of the dress to puff out where the bottom of the waistband meets the skirt. So I got a med. Much better fit in the waist. I really only have two other points in regards to the design of this dress. The lining for me is awkwardly cut. I could barely get my hips into the small although the top part fit well. And with the med the top is too big (hello! and I have DDs) and the bottom fits but is still a little snug. I will have to let out the sides at my hips a little and take in the top to get a better fit. The other thing I don't like is that you can see the raw seams of the waistband through the transparent material. You can kind of see it in the photo if you look closely. It isn't really noticeable when you are wearing the dress, but it is there. I am surprised that a dress this price would have such a poor element of craftsmanship. I do love the dress though and the rest of it seems well made. It isn't like anything I have in my closet! All and all I would recommend this dress!

This dress is beautiful! If you are unsure though, size up. I just returned a S for a M, though the medium is not here yet. The dress is good quality, color is as pictured. The small would have worked fine if I was a B cup and my waist just an inch or 2 smaller. The slip fit, but squished my breasts awkwardly. The outer lace part of the dress fit great everywhere except that the middle ribbon provides no stretch and cut in (muffin top! ha). So, unless you're a 26 or smaller, I'd get a M.

My waist is 27 inches and the dress fit perfectly, it wasn't too tight at all. The fabric is beautiful and I am very pleased with the quality of the dress. I got this especially to wear to my little sister's high school graduation and I can't wait to show it off!
