This dress is cute and comfortable. The material has a heavy look to it (like canvas), but it is lighter weight and softer than it looks. I actually thought the weave might not have been tight enough to wear without a slip under, but it isn't transparent at all. Also, the red on it is more of a pinkish red. I had red shoes I wanted to wear with it, but they didn't match. The color in the dress is similar to a shade called "corrida" in a personal color swatch that I got for a color analysis (If that helps...).

This dress just arrived today, and I'm very happy with it. The material is well worth the price - it's heavy and pretty durable. I was surprised by the color of the v-trim on the chest - it looks very nearly black in the picture, and is actually a navy blue. It's slightly big in the top even for me, and I'm pretty busty. Since the skirt is so full while the top is fitted, I'd consider sizing down if you do decide to purchase this dress.
