Cozy Weekend Away Dress

This dress was a lot shorter than I thought it would be. I think it should be described as a tunic, not a dress. It was very comfy and fit well, just too short for me.

This is such a lovely warm dress for winter. It runs a little large - I'm borderline between a small and medium, and the small is loose on me. I'm happy about that though, as it means there's room to layer underneath. It's not the most flattering dress I own because being a knit, it's a little bulky, but adding a belt really helps make sure you don't completely lose your waist. The pockets sit low enough that they don't draw attention to my hips, and the length is long enough that although I generally wear leggings or tights to keep my legs warm, it wouldn't be indecent if I didn't. I'm reasonably short though, if you're much taller than me this would be more of a tunic. It's loose around the armpits, if I wore it without a shirt underneath my bra would show under my arms, but since I always wear at least a t-shirt underneath this doesn't worry me. I've washed this a couple of times since I bought it; the care info says to hang to dry but I found it's better to lay it flat if you can, so it doesn't stretch. I wouldn't recommend this dress if you're very petite as you'll be swimming in it, but if you're my size or larger this is a great comfy addition to your winter wardrobe - it's fast becoming my go-to dress for cold days.
