I so wanted to love this dress. But I the proportions were just all wrong for me. Sleeves way, way too puffy, waist fit OK, but the bust was loose and the hips were just so puffed out as well. Plus, I didn't think the photo represented the colors of the dress well at all. In the photo, they look crisp and dark, in person they're sort of drab and dull. Eh. This is my first return to Modcloth - just wasn't for me.

When I saw this dress I had to have it. There was a dress at Free People that was almost exactly the same but $150, so when I saw this one at less than half the price, it was a no-brainer. I think it's even cuter actually!

I love this dress! The length is perfect hitting right above the knee (granted I am only 5'2) I was worried that the cut would be too low, I am on the bustier side. Yet it covers everything without a problem only giving a little tasteful cleavage. The sleeves are beautiful, but are on the poofier side if that's not your style. As a theatre major, this dress will be a nice addition to my wardrobe!
