Lovely, lovely, lovely! I've yet to be disappointed with a Modcloth dress and this has proven no different. Wonderful fit & great quality. No complaints! :)

This dress is HEAVEN for larger girls (see my measurements - I'm larger!). Very flattering, very cute - it is short-ish. I am OK with flashing a bit of leg but have also worn it with a longer lace slip underneath and still looks cute while being a bit more modest. You could also sew a bit of contrasting fabric to the lining to give a bit more length if you wanted to - that would work perfectly. Will be great with tights in Autumn / Winter (it's Summer here right now). Quality is superb - fully lined.

Buy it buy it buy it!!! Beautiful quality and so, so flattering. Definitely vaguely retro/40's. It makes my waist look tiny and hides any unsightly bulges with the illusion created by the waist-tie. I'm not sure how to make it look good during the winter, but I'll sure try - it's so pretty that I don't want to hide it with a cardigan! This dress runs, if anything, large; I got the extra small and my measurements do not match up with those listed on the "size chart" for xs, as you can see for yourself. Only two problems (nothing's perfect, so I'm ok with these): the sleeves have a slight puff-out effect, which I wasn't sure of from the photo. It's intentional, I'm just not into it. The second is that the keyhole in the back gapes somewhat awkwardly, depending on what position I'm in. Really not a big deal, though.
