  • 58% Cotton, 42% Polyester.
  • Shell fabric does not provide stretch. Lining fabric provides stretch. Shirring at back waist provides approximately 6 inches of stretch.
  • Machine wash cold on gentle cycle recommended. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Low iron if needed.
  • Fully lined. Sheer. Adjustable straps are elasticized.

I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it and so I took a chance and bought it before seeing other reviews... and I kind of wish I didn't. It says it is lined, and it is, but the lining is SHEER. This is pretty much unwearable without an extra slip underneath. It also fits VERY large. I am a little heavier at 5'6, 170 pounds, with measurements around 40/34/44. I'm usually around a L-XL, but got a medium with the intention of fitting into it in the summer (since I've been dropping weight recently). Well, even at my current weight it fits very large in ALL areas. I've considered returning it for a smaller size, but its currently sold out, so I'll keep it and get it altered. It is still a very cute dress and seems well-made, I would just recommend that you size down if you decide to order.

I LOVE this dress! I normally wear a medium, but after reading other reviews I decided to go with a small and I'm glad I did. This dress is VERY stretchy. Like other reviewers said, it is also incredibly sheer. I already had a black slip so I tried it underneath and it looked just fine. The detail up top is gorgeous! It's a little baggy around my chest, but its not a deal breaker. The only thing I don't like it how the dress poofs out at the bottom of seam at the waist, but that's nothing a sweater won't hide. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase. This will be a nice summer piece since it is so lightweight.

Sending this one back literally ached. It is incredibly pretty. The bodice was too tight and I'm only a B cup size! The lace is gorgeous and airy but for some reason, the designer paired sheer lace with a sheer lining. That means that in the dead heat of summer you'll need to wear an opaque slip! Please, Modcloth, reissue this gem with a thicker cotton lining and a little more fabric at the bodice front, sell it for a few bucks more if you must & I'll be first in line to snap it back up.
