A very close friend of mine always has the cutest little bags, dresses and nicknacks, and whenever I ask her where she got her stuff from the answer is always the following: Modcloth. So of course, I had to check this site out and see why she loved it so much. After much browsing and perusing, this was my first purchase off the site. The dress is really different, something new that I don't have in my closet and I fell in love with it the minute I saw it. The material is great and doesn't feel scratchy on my skin. My only concern is that it might seem a little long on shorter people (myself included, lol. I'm 5'3" 1/2), so if you're going for a dress with a short cut, you might have to alter it a bit. Also, it may seem a little roomy (just a bit!) around the bust and waist area, so consider getting a smaller size or cinching everything in with a waist belt if you're concerned about that. Other than that, I absolutely ADORE this dress and will definitely be looking to make future purchases from the site :D.

I love this dress. I decided to take a chance and order as soon as I saw it. I'm glad that I decided to make the purchase. The material on the dress is nice and it would look adorable with a belt, tights, and knee high boots. It is a deep taupe color (not light or sheer).I am a size 6 or Small in most stores. However in Modcloth, I have been a size Medium in most dresses. I ordered the Medium as suggested by the size chart. This dress does NOT fit the size chart. The dress is really large on me. I definitely recommend the dress but I think ordering a size down would be the best idea.

This dress is perfect!! It was a little shorter than I had anticipated, but I still love it. The top is modest enough that I don't mind showing off some leg :) It also looks great with tights or skinny jeans in the cold weather.
