A Hen-chant for Eggs-ellence Dress

I really adore this dress. I got it this morning. As the description states, the bust does run large. Not as large as I was expecting, considering I got an XL (have to for my waistline) and according to the size chart the bust should be a good 4-6" bigger than my actual bust. It's only a couple inches. I'm 5'10" and it falls just about at my mid-knee. The tulle, it's actually netting, not tulle, is very itchy but since it's winter I'm currently wearing leggings under it, and I probably will continue to do so during the summer because the length is a bit shy of what I normally like. I decided to take in the bust about 2" after I tried it on and wore it around a little bit, and then decided to add straps because it kept falling down on me. I will be wearing a shrug or light sweater over it all the time anyway as I don't wear strapless dresses so the straps just assist in not having to hike the dress up all the time. It fits very nicely in all other measurements...very comfortable and the print is as delighful in real life as it is online. However, I think $79.99 is very steep for what you get. It's just basic cotton, nothing fancy. I would think $40 would be closer to what it should be. This is probably the most expensive dress I've ever bought in my life. Overall, I give it an B+. It would get an A if it wasn't for being overpriced, sized oddly, and the itchy netting.

So love this dress!!! I ordered a medium initially and ended up exchanging for a large. At 5' 2" and about 175 I can go either way with some styles. But so glad I exchanged!!! The fit is great and oh so flattering! I highly recommend this dress, especially because of the awesomely fun pattern too!
