This coat is absolutely stunning. The large was out of stock, so I ordered a medium on the off chance it would fit. Not even close! Unfortunately, the other reviews saying this coat runs small were not yet posted when I ordered it. I will patiently wait until the large is in stock again. And I agree with another reviewer: An extra large would be a welcome addition for those of us with broad shoulders. The fabric quality and color are absolutely gorgeous!

This is a good heavy coat (at least, heavier than any wool coat we buy in TX) and it is a plush material instead of the standard everyday wool. Beautiful and just as pictured but DEFINATELY RUNS SMALL! I am usually somewhere between a 4 and 8 (depending on what fits around my chest-36D) and ordered a Medium but this is tight. I can make an adjustment to close it so I will keep because I love it so much. I almost ordered the small because I like my coats fitted and im so glad I didnt. My waist is about 28 inches and the medium wouldnt close (but almost) for reference. REALLY beautiful coat though and identical to the photo, really heavy and worth the $$. It was "designed" in Australia so that may be the reason for the off sizing. If you are on the border, order up for sure.

This coat is a dream come true. I'm not sure how it would look on other body types, but I have wide-ish shoulders, a medium waist, and narrow hips, and it was absolute perfection. It's almost like a coat dress, in the sense that it flairs out very prettily. It creates a wonderfully dramatic look, whether you're going out for a dressy event (worn over a cocktail dress), or just heading out for a movie (worn over a sweater, leggings, and suede boots). Definitely worth the money :)
