If you follow the products I typically chose to feature, you probably know this is not an ordinary pick for me. But when I saw this bracelet, I was flooded with memories of playful Lisa Frank designs and mischievous childhood sleepovers. Around the age of 10, my three best friends and I formed a club called Sleepover Pals - or as we liked to call it for short (and secrecy) - S.O.P. Every other Friday night or so, we'd all get together and make hot fudge sundaes, induce giggles with games of "Truth or Dare" and MASH, share (and hide) crushes from each other, and coordinate dance routines to songs like, The Backstreet Boys' "Quit Playing Games With My Heart." We'd often make each other over by applying blue eyeshadow and red lipstick, and dress up in glitzy oversized frocks and jewelry like this shimmering, seven-hearted bracelet. We held our sleepover ritual throughout high school, but by then, we'd traded our gossipy nights in for dinners and movies out. We left behind those glitzy outfits, shaking our heads in disbelief that we had thought ourselves glamorous, only to wear the nineties styles we would again, one day, eventually regret. Now years later, with SOP out of commission, I continue to dedicate a great space in my heart to those memories and friendships. With a full-time job and full-time adult priorities, I don't often get to indulge in the past times of my youth. But when I wear this glistening bracelet with dark denim jeans, an extra-long black tunic, and statement stilettos, to my now very grown-up Friday happy hour, I'm warmly reminded of those glorious days when I thought I'd grow up to sing duets with Mariah Carey and marry Prince Charming. -Sarah, Fashion Writer
